Deanna “Dede” Lynn (White) Miller of Indianapolis, IN was born on May 28 1967 and passed away Feb 6 2016. She is preceded in death by her father Arthur White. Survived by her Mother Estella (Jones) McKnight, Step mother Glenna White, Son Andrew Townsend, Husband Marcelino Garza Jr, step son Marc Garza and granddaughter Tristen Garza. Her sisters Lisa Tanner, Tina Mitchel, Patsy Gross and Kathy Campbell. Brothers Tim Lambert, Michael White, Jack and Jeff Lafollette. Nieces Amanda Hicks, Sierra Lafollette, Chelsea Wicker, Brittany Mitchel, Collien Hines, Cassidy Wicker, Isabella White, and Amelia White. Nephews David, Stephen and Josh Upshaw, Raymond Martin, Jack Lafollette 3rd, Dwayne Hicks, Timothy Lambert, Mathew Johnson, Brian Mitchel, and Alex Wicker. Great nieces Abigail Acton, Kaylee Lafollette, Faith, Ava and Everly Upshaw. Great Nephews Blake and Logan Lafollette, Hadley, Oliver and Silas Upshaw. Cousins Cindy, Kathy, Mike, Candra, Dale and Elvis Jones. Extended family Tami England, Raychel Townsend, Paula “Sissy” Riggs and Maggie Hines.
Dede was a proud member of the Local 47 Painters Union where she retired after 26 years. She was a master of all trades from hanging drywall and vinyl to padding prison cells and painting the Indianapolis Colts football field. Her beautiful smile and Infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around her. She had such amazing strength and courage and Is truly the glue that holds our family together.
